WASANII KUKAA UTUPU NANI ALAUMIWE?

Katika blogs na Facebook kumekuwa na mada inayojaribu kuzungumzia utamaduni mpya wa wasanii wa Tanzania kupiga picha za nusu-utupu au utupu kabisa. Majadiliano yamekuwa mengi yakianzia na shutuma na hata kashfa na matusi kwa wasanii hawa. Lakini tuangalie hili jambo kwa jicho la ukweli. 
Tukichukua usemi ambao wengi tunautamka, 'WASANII NI KIOO CHA JAMII', tabia hiyo haipashwi kulaumiwa wasanii pekee. Kwanza nitoe maelezo kuhusu huu usemi WASANII NI KIOO CHA JAMII- tafsiri yake mara nyingi sana hupotoshwa na kueleweka kuwa Jamii huangalia wasanii na ndipo hubadilika, bahati mbaya kinyume chake ndicho ukweli. ARTISTS ARE THE MIRROR OF THE SOCIETY. Wasanii wanaonyesha tu jamii ilivyo. Ukijiangalia katika kioo ukaona sura mbaya, ukaanza kulalamikia kioo, watu watakucheka, na ndicho ambacho kinaendelea sasa, tunalaani na kutukana kioo. Magazeti yetu maarufu yanayoitwa ya udaku, na waendesha blog wengi wamekwisha gundua hili kuwa jamii yetu inapenda sana hayo mambo ya kukaa nusu utupu. Mtu yoyote mwenye blog atakwambia kuwa akiweka picha ya msanii yuko nusu utupu au hadithi inayoonyesha kuna uwezekano wa utupu, wasomaji huwa wengi sana, kuliko akitoa habari ya msanii huyohuyo kuwa amefanya kitu kizuri. Pita barabarani mitaani, lugha za matusi ni kama kawaida, kampuni za simu zinapata mamilioni ya fedha kutokana na watu kutumiana vichekesho vyenye matusi ya aina moja au nyingine, na wala sio taarifa za maendeleo ya kilimo.
Lakini ukweli mwingine lazima usemwe, kuna jamii ya Watanzania, na ndani yake kuna jamii nyingi tu, Jamii ya wasanii wa muziki, na humo wako wa Taarab, Bongo fleva, muziki wa Enjili na kadhalika na  katika humo pia utakuta huo ukweli wa kioo cha jamii, uvaaji wa wanamuziki wa Taarab uko tofauti na ule wa Bongoflava, kila moja ikiwa kioo cha jamii yake.
Na pamoja na matusi na laana kwa wasanii hawa jamii pia ijiangalie yenyewe, mwanamuziki wa Taarab akivaa kimini, kamwe hataruhusiwa na jamii yake kuendelea kuimba, kwani ataonekana yuko nje ya maadili ya jamii ile. Kuhusu uchezaji, ni wazi kuwa kuna aina ya uchezaji unapendwa na jamii, au la video zenye uchezaji huo zingekosa soko na wasanii hao wangepotea katika jamii.
Imefikia mahala hata vyombo vya serikali vinakuwa na kigugumizi katika haya na kutupia vyama vya makundi husika kwani si rahisi kupiga marufuku, kwa kuwa jamii inafurahia yote yanayoendelea. makabila mengi ngoma zake ni kukata viuno, wanaume kwa wanawake, hivyo cha ajabu nini utamaduni huo kuendelea katika Bongoflava? Wasanii wanaendeleza tu usemi kuwa MSANII NI KIOO CHA JAMII. 
Kuna watu walianza hata kuingia na vimini makanisani, haraka jamii ya huko ikaanza kuwafukuza na makanisa mengine yameweka kanga mlangoni za kuwavisha watu wanaokuja na taratibu za jamii walikotoka na kuingiza katika jamii ya walioko kanisani. Nawasilisha hoja
